Posters and Banners

Large print materials (such as posters, banners, pull-up banners and similar displays) may NOT be posted at the main hospital campus. They can pose safety (tripping) hazards, damage walls, cause confusion to patients and families, create visual clutter and become quickly outdated if not removed in a timely manner. That said, there are a few exceptions (MarComm approval required). You can find these exceptions, along with the complete list of guidelines here.

 

Signage

Hospital – Main Campus Patient Room Nameplates

Create patient room nameplates using the template below. Signs should be 6″ tall x 2 3/8″ wide, with the print area being  2″ tall x 5 1/4″ wide. Type first name and last name in black Arial bold, aligned left on the nameplate. Print the sign on a standard letter size paper and cut on the dashed lines.

Hospital – Main Campus Office Nameplates

Small Office Type (1-2 people)

Create a nameplate for a small office using the template below. Signs should be 8″ wide x 4 5/8″ high, with the print area being 7″ wide x 4″ high. Type first name and last name in black Arial bold, aligned left on the nameplate. The next two lines should be used for title and department. Print the sign on a standard letter size paper and cut on the dashed lines.

Medium Office Type (3-4 people)

Create a nameplate for a medium office using the template below. Signs should be 8″ wide x 6 1/8″ high, with the print area being 7″ wide x 5 1/2″ high. Type first name and last name in black Arial bold, and the next two lines should be used for title and department. Print the sign on a standard letter size paper and cut on the dashed lines.

Large Office Type (5-8 people)

Create a nameplate for a large office using the template below. Signs should be 10 1/8″ tall x  7 5/8″ wide, with the print area being 9 1/2″ tall  x 7″ wide. Type first name and last name in black Arial bold, aligned left on the nameplate. the next two lines should be used for title and department. Print the sign on a standard letter size paper and cut on the dashed lines.

Cubicle Nameplates

Create cubicle or office nameplates using the template below. Signs should be 8 3/4″ wide x 1 1/4″. high, using Pantone 314 blue (C100 M2 Y20 K14 or R0 G123 B155) for the background. Type first name and last name in white Arial bold and center on the nameplate. Print the sign on photocopy paper on color printers and place into the frame holders near the cubicle entrance or office door.
